PostSubject: Drip Drip..   Drip Drip.. I_icon_minitimeTue May 05, 2009 7:04 pm

There seems to be a small oil drip under my gear box. The cars been sitting there for god-knows how long.

This MAY be a gearbox leak but does anyone know where else this could be leaking from?

Cheers

hi pete, it may be coming from yout tik pipe at the turbo end, i have a similar problem and when i took it to smart they said the the oil is coming from the breathers, have alook and see if the bottom of your turbo is covered in oil, if it is then thats your problem mate or not a problem according to smart/merc...Wink... but if its dripping onto the floor your breather are more blocked than mine and need cleaning..Smile

Thing is : theres nothing on the ground below it so I don't think it's actually dripping. Maybe a slow leak.

I'm gonna have the back end off tomorrow, weather permitting, so will remove all the easy-to-remove bits and see how we go!
